Following our news story (with screenshots) earlier this week, Vivendi Universal announced that Evil Genius had gone gold. In conjunction with the game's completion, a game demo will be released to the public on Monday. As a megalomaniacal evil mastermind bent on world domination, players will work from a secret lair to build the ultimate "laser" while fending off the narcissitic forces of good. The game is a campy spoof on James Bond using elaborate death traps, odd gadgets, and mindless bad guys.
