Electronic Arts officially announced today that the real-time strategy, The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth has gone Gold. Developed at EA’s Los Angeles studio exclusively for the PC under the EA GAMES™ brand, The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth will ship to stores on December 6, 2004, just in time for Crimbo.
