Galacticards Gold
GONE GOLD posted on 1 NOV 2005 by Sean Drummy
Killer Bee's card based PC game is now a shiny yellow color.
Killer Bee Software has today announced that their new Card-Based space strategy PC title, Galacticards, has reached gold status and will be available for purchase shortly. Expected to retail online only for an estimated $20, Galacticards will be exceptionally accomodating to a variety of OSes which generally get the short end of the stick when it comes to PC gaming: both the Mac OSX and a variety of Linux platforms will fully support the title.
Based off of the Garagegames-developed Torque 2D engine, Galacticards places five players who all have a chance of ruling the universe on a lonely homeworld and allow them to expand through a variety of means. As turns go by players accumulate cards that help them to establish systems, build colonies, conduct researh and mining operations, and to defend (or, of course, attack) other players in the game.
Developed and distributed by Killer Bee Software, the people behind Empire Deluxe and The Perfect General, get more information on this title and others from KillerBeeSoftware.com.
