New Details on Battlefield 2: Armored Fury

Battlefield 2: Armored Fury will be released via digital download this summer, Electronic Arts confirmed this week. Following the release of Battlefield 2: Euro Forces this past March, EA will put out Armored Fury through its EA Downloader Service, priced at $9.99. This "booster pack" adds several new features centered around armored warfare, including three new maps at the Alaskan port of Valdez, a battle for the U.S. Capital through suburbian America, and a final battle between MEC and Marine forces on the interstate system. All maps place heavy emphasis on armored units and the booster pack will add two new aircraft classes, Attack Jets and Recon Helicopters.
