War Times Goes Gold

Publisher Strategy First and developer Legend Studios announced today that their World War II real time strategy game War Times has gone gold and will hit shelves later this month across the nation.

Strategy First and Legend Studios have today gone gold with their realistic real time strategy title, War Times. Set during World War II, War Times allows players to experience and perhaps even alter the outcome of some of the most prolific and important battles in mankinds history. Here's what Strategy First had to say about War Times:

War Times lets players follow the tumultuous era of the Second World War through their choice of country; each nation is totally different and uses unique strategies in their attack and defense. The 3D campaigns are based on real historical events on land, sea and in the air and give the player full freedom of movement using several different camera angles and zoom features, bringing an unparalleled realism to the fight. Players can choose from 80 different units and can build 70 different structures in their battle, all while gathering resources such as ore and oil and recruiting an army to protect their country’s honor. Multiplayer mode supports up to 14 players and features three skirmish modes: melee, protect the general and total victory.

Along with that, Strategy First is offering a special copy for anyone who preorders War Times from EBgames.com and GameStop.com. The special copy will include exclusive bonus levels and missions along with a limited edition War Times mousepad.
